Can you believe it, our little Adyson is 3!!! Monday was the big day and she loved every second of it. We started the morning off with her new favorite obsession - Poptarts. I had taken them away for a while since that is all she wanted to eat in life, but I bought her some for her birthday. We put a candle in and sang Happy Birthday. She loved it!
Blowing out the Poptart candle :)We threw 2 birthday parties for her that day - a Friend Party during the day and a Family Party that evening. They were both Princess themed - Addy is really into Princesses, so she just ate it up! Here are some pictures of the decorations - we had both parties in our backyard.
(This is the game that they played at the Friend Party)FRIEND PARTY: We invited 3 friends since she was turning 3 (it was actually 4 friends since Diessen & Page are brother & sister). She had Scout, Ashlee, Diessen, and Page come to her party. They had a blast swimming, opening presents, playing "Pin the Heart on the Princess Crown", and eating cupcakes. Thanks to all her friends for her cute presents - she LOVES them all!!

Addy, Ashlee, and Diessen all dressed up in all the cute princess stuff she got from her friends :)FAMILY PARTY: After a nice long nap and some playing with the presents she got from her Friend Party, we had a fun little Family Party. We had pizza, garlic bread, and root beer. Then we opened presents. Boy, was our little girl spoiled! THANK YOU to everyone for all the fun presents!! She got some puzzles, a barbie, barbie outfits, a gigantic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse coloring book, a Polly Pocket, cute clothes, Princess games, cute books, sand toys, and a Ladybug Sandbox! Let's just say, Addy and I have had a lot of new fun toys and games to play with this whole week :) Then she blew out the candles on her Princess Crown Cake. A HUGE THANK YOU to my wonderful cousin, Summer, for the idea and the great tips on making the Princess Crown Cake!! It was so fun to make and the best part was the Addy LOVED it!!

Sorry Scout turned out to be such a "party pooper"! Dang work!! Consider yourself hired for all cake making for the Petersons from this point on: so talented!!
I cannot believe she is already 3! Holy smokes the time flies. What a great idea for the party theme, though. You always have such cute ideas to make occassions special.
